FAQ
-
Can I join a class/course after the session has already started?Usually yes! We have students that join all throughout the school year. Some classes are easier to jump into the middle than others, so please reach out to the instructor first to make sure the class can be geared towards late-joiners. We will do our best to get your student caught up quickly. And don't worry, all fees are automatically prorated, so no matter when you join the class, you'll only be charged from when you join and on.
-
What if my student has to miss a class? Not a problem, we're generally flexible when it comes to making up the missed class. Speak with your instructor to arrange it, but students are welcome to attend a different day that week or attend two courses the week before or after the missed day to make it up.

What is the Maya software? It's a 3D computer graphics program used to create games, films, and visual effects. It's an industry standard to know how to use and operate Maya when working in a 3D animation field. All our 3D students receive a 1-year license to use the Maya software as part of their registration.

Can I choose to pay upfront instead of monthly?During the school year, yes, you can opt in to make your payment upfront. There is an option when you register to mark to pay upfront. Those who pay upfront will receive a discount. A full refund (minus the registration fee) is available during the first week of classes, a 50% refund is available during the first month of classes, with no refunds thereafter.
-
What is your refund policy?Withdrawal/Refund policy is as follows: All registration fees are non-refundable. You must EMAIL your withdrawal request before the 1st of the month. Withdrawals received during the current month will not be refunded and will go into effect the following month. You can opt in to pay the full tuition upfront. If you do, a full refund is available during the first week of classes. A 50% refund is available the first month of classes with no refunds thereafter.
-
What forms of payment do you accept? All payments have to go through Jackrabbit, our secure class registration platform. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover.
-
I'm part of a scholarship program. How does this affect payment? There's a space on the registration form to enter which program you're affiliated with and how you want to pay (direct pay, reimbursement, etc.) You can also write in if you need a receipt or invoice and we will email those statements to you. If using direct pay, nothing will be charged to your card. If your scholarship funds won't come in until after classes start, you may still attend classes when they start. *NOTE: You must pay for school year upfront in order to use scholarship funds to pay.
-
How do I get discounts applied? The multi-class discount will automatically apply when you register your second student and on. The upfront payment discount must be applied manually on our end - there is an option on the registration form to mark that you want to pay upfront. You will automatically have the first month's tuition posted, but we will go in and manually change the amount to reflect the upfront payment.
